Who We Are

An association born from the UEFA Academy Player Agent Programme - uniting alumni who share a commitment to the highest standards of professional football representation. We are powered by UEFA Academy.

What We Stand For

Relationships. Collaboration. Growth. We believe football agents are stronger together - across borders, across cultures, across continents.

Why We Exist

Because football agents deserve a unified voice, a professional home, and a global network that truly works for them. TAU is that network.

About Us

How We United

The Agents Union was born out of the UEFA Academy Player Agent Programme - the first Player Agent Programme (PAP) ever run under UEFA, launched in 2022 - a vision to professionalise, connect, and amplify the voice of football agents on a global scale. Today, TAU is the professional home for UEFA Academy alumni. Tomorrow, it will be the home for every licensed football agent in the world. We are building something that lasts.

We're here to help you!

What is The Football Agents Union?

The Football Agents Union is an independent association that represents the collective interests of licensed football agents. We exist to give agents a unified voice in the football industry - engaging with governing bodies, clubs, players' unions, and regulators on the issues that affect our profession. Our work spans advocacy, professional standards, member support, and education. We believe a well-regulated, well-represented agent community makes the game fairer and stronger for everyone in it.

Who can join the The Agents Union?

Membership is currently open to graduates of the UEFA Academy Player Agent Programme. We are in the process of opening membership to all licensed football agents recognised by their national football association. The TAU Board may also consider distinguished industry professionals whose experience and commitment to the game aligns with the values of the Association.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

As a member you get a trusted peer network across Europe and beyond, collaboration across borders and markets, workshops and peer-to-peer learning, a collective voice in dialogue with UEFA and governing bodies, events and community gatherings - and the professional credibility that comes with TAU membership.

How do I apply for membership?

Complete the membership application form and tell us about your background, your UEFA Academy credentials, and why TAU matters to you. The TAU Board reviews your application and may follow up with a short conversation. Once approved, you receive your welcome pack, membership confirmation, and full access to the TAU community.

What does the Union do to support and represent football agents?

Our work spans advocacy, professional standards, member support, and education. We engage in dialogue with UEFA, football associations, and governing bodies on the issues that affect the profession - and we bring the community together through workshops, resources, and networking events.

Is the Union recognized by UEFA or national football federations?

TAU was born out of the UEFA Academy Player Agent Programme and is powered by UEFA Academy. We are headquartered in Nyon, Switzerland - in the heart of European football - and operate under Swiss law, in close alignment with the values and standards of UEFA.
