1. The short version

This Site does not set cookies. We use no analytics cookies, no marketing or advertising cookies, no social media buttons, and no tracking pixels. We do not build profiles of our visitors.

That is also why you do not see a cookie banner on this Site: there is nothing for you to consent to.

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) to recognise it on later visits. They are commonly used for things like keeping users logged in, remembering preferences, measuring audiences, and advertising. This Site has no login, no preference storage, and no audience measurement - which is why it does not need them.

3. Strictly necessary exceptions

Our hosting provider may, in rare cases, set a strictly necessary security cookie - for example, to protect the Site against automated abuse during an attack. Such a cookie:

  • is required for the Site to function securely
  • stores no profile or marketing information about you
  • does not require consent under applicable law

4. Third-party requests that are not cookies

Two technical services are involved in delivering this Site. They do not set cookies, but your browser does send them your IP address as part of any normal web request:

  • Hosting/CDN: the Site’s pages and images are delivered by our hosting provider, which processes request data (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) in server logs for delivery and security purposes.
  • Google Fonts: the Site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers.

You can read more about how we handle personal data in our Privacy Policy.

5. If this changes

If we ever introduce cookies or similar technologies that require consent (for example, analytics), we will update this policy first, describe exactly what is used and why, and show a consent banner before anything non-essential is placed on your device.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Even though this Site does not set cookies, you can manage or block cookies for all websites in your browser settings:
